Hydras. Basilisks. Minotaurs. Bugbears. All horrendous, vicious beings of darkness, who will most certainly have you for dinner if you are to meet up with them. But not in this world! In the magical world of Monster Monpiece, monsters that would normally be horrific beasts are actually cute girls! Cute DEADLY monster girls! You have an army of adorable monster girls to fight your battles for you, and boy are you ever gonna need all the help you can get!

Monster Monpiece is a Collectable Card Game/RPG hybrid that has you pitting your army of monster cards in turn-based battles against your opponent's army. Which seems perfectly by-the-numbers until you get to the method of making your monster girls/cards stronger: you have to err.. rub them. That's right, both the touch screen and rear touch pad on the Vita are utilized. By suggestively stroking your monster girls, you make them stronger(you can't make this stuff up!).

Ultra-risque elements aside, Monster Monpiece manages to stand on it's own as a completely competent card brawler, and the lengthy campaign plus the robust multiplayer will keep you coming back for more. This is definitely one of the best card games on the Vita, and the production values are through the roof. If you are a card game fanatic, or just a fan of cute monster girls, there is no reason not to check this unique gem out. Just don't play the more naughty parts in public.
